Here are the notes from today's developer meeting. Next meeting is Monday,
13 August 10:00 CEST (08:00 UTC).

1) Blender 2.8

- Grease pencil is nicely under control, no big issues are reported, all
the reports atre tackled quick. Good work!
- Bastien spent all the time in the bug tracker, fixing lots of bugs!
- Clement optimized mapping node, now it does not recompile shader.
- Updated planning for SIGGRAPH release and further Beta will be announced
- Sergey was working on OpenSubdiv modifier (CPU side). Getting close to
enabling it in the official builds.

2) Google Summer of Code

- Student's evaluation and code submission started now. Deadline is 14th
August. Don't miss it!
