[Soc-2007-dev] Committing, timelines and midterm evaluations

I just noticed that the midterm evaluations are in about
2 weeks. I think this is a really good time for students
to take a look at their proposals and evaluate their
progress. I haven't seen many commits from students,
which is starting to worry me. I think projects should be
moving out of the 'design phase' and into the 'coding phase'
as soon as possible -- the Summer of Code project pays
for code, not designs. Another thing: don't forget to do
fairly frequent merges of your branches.
