Hi gang,

We're 3 weeks into this thing, so I guess it would now
be a good time to make sure that things are going the
way we expect them to. I've been in fairly close contact
with several of the students, and know how they are doing,
but from some others I haven't really heard a peep.
If it appears that your project might have a chance
of failing, it's best that we address this now
rather than later. If you have a moment and are able
to update us on the status of your project, that would
be great. I'd like to know how is your project doing?
Does it seem likely that you'll be done on time? Do you
think you are getting as much guidance as you would like
from your mentor? Any issues such as bad scheduling/timezone
with mentor? If you are having problems, can you let us
know what they are, and if you can, can you recommend a remedy?

You can email me directly if you don't feel comfortable
mailing the list -- although I think mailing the list would
be better, since then you'll have almost twenty people
that can help find a solution, rather than just one
overworked guy (and heck, we're all on the same team
anyways).

Cheers guys,
Chris
