Hi,

Hoho, you really overshoot.
Everything works as usual. All the other hotkeys don't use ordered 
modifiers.

Only if you explicitely add in a keymap that order is relevant (SHIFT2, 
ALT2 etc), it will be evaluated *only* in that specific keymap entry. 
It's not a feature for default maps, it's an option for limited cases 
for power users who need more flexiblity.

Further I completely stand behind the usefulness of testing such 
options. Same will go for any-key modiers (hold p, press something), 
multi-key input (press H, E , L, P) and more of such concepts. :)

I've spent a lot of time designing a very well balanced and flexible 
event system in Blender. We've been evaluating the system from many 
different angles, especially for being fit for future developement 
including better tablet support, multi-touch input, dual-mouse 
configurations, etc. We should make sufficient room for experiments and 
innovations in Blender, that's the real power of this project, right?

A bit more of open minded discussions would help too here. It's not fun 
to get such a treatment for an honestly meant contribution.
