I don't see why not. Andrew is the top community lobbyist for UI reform, if
the UI review and commit process is in itself flawed, it only makes sense
to bring that up to him. While certainly Andrew is not the one who directly
enacts changes (like you said, that's the BF and especially Ton), it makes
sense to amplify your voice through a spokesperson who gets a lot of
attention. It's a very political approach, but that just means it's
pragmatic.

That said, have you had any luck directly taking your case to Ton and the
foundation?
