Hi Nkansah,

a good place to start is wiki.blender.org where you will find a large
Writer's Guide section. Lower down, there is a link
http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Help:Images

which explains wiki images in general.
There is also a blender style guide for images.

Go to our page with examples of good and bad style and see how they add
images.

http://wiki.blender.org/index.php/Meta:Guides/Wiki_Examples_Good_and_Bad

The way to upload images on our site is to first Login (this adds some
things to menu items). Go to the bottom right hand corner where the wiki
popup (to the left of the wiki sunflower icon). Once you're logged in, the
bottom most selection should be 'upload files'

Please have a read on suggested naming conventions for your images.

Also, if you feel it might be an image that is generally useful (like an
icon or panel) feel free to add it to our icon library. In fact, search
there first if that's what you're looking for. (also available from the
writer's guide)

cheers, and welcome aboard!
