[Bf-cycles] UV/Image Editor Bug

I can't believe this hasn't been reported yet, but when you're in edit
mode, and you split your view so that you have both the 3dview and the
Image Editor, you cannot open an image texture. You can hit the image open
icon, and the image will never display. You can open textures in Object
mode, but as soon as you go back into Edit mode, the texture disappears.
The only way to get the texture to stay, I think, is to have a UV mapped
texture node on the object material.
