[Bf-compositor] "RGB Colors only" preview

Hey,

I decided to touch the issue of displaying RGB colors in UV Image Editor and compositor's backdrop here in this list, although this is more general than just compositor.
I decided to post it here, because chances are that you guys who follow this list have better chance to understand what I am talking about .

Please share your thoughts. If you think the same as me - maybe we will somehow be able to explain the matter to "folks with power".
I think that the matter here is not that something is difficult to change, but decisions were based on wrong assumptions.
