[Bf-committers] Cucumber (BGE fixes and polish) patch for review

Hi all,
Daniel put his work in a patch against trunk to be reviewed here:

I need to go over it before merging it to trunk, but anyone is welcome to
help in the review as well.
There are a few changes in the .py files, so I would like if at least Thomas
or someone from the ui team could take a look at it.
