Hi,

Here a short overview of what's been done last week. We've all been
pretty much busy with bug fixing and readying for release.

Campbell has been doing changes to the Python API as to how properties
are created for custom types (types derived from IDPropertyGroup) and
existing types (like bpy.types.Scene). This to unify with operators.
Instead of doing bpy.types.Scene.BoolProperty(attr='really',
name='Really?!', default=True) you'd now do something along the lines
of: bpy.types.Scene.really = bpy.props.BoolProperty(name='Really?!",
default=True)

Janne has been busy fixing particle bugs, and a bit slower due to moving
to new apartement. He's also asking Mac and Linux users to help with
reproducing some bugs:

Diego was busy with some other projects, but next week he should be back
on the track(er).

I have also been working on bugs, next to getting release logs and
download pages ready for our imminent Blender 2.54 beta release. Work
continued on stats/graphs and I'm slowly reading through more of our SVN
logs, so I can amend our release logs for the section that our now only
bullet-listed.

Now that Blender 2.54 beta release will be available for the public very
soon (today hopefully) we should expect a surge of renewed bug reporting
activity. We'll try our best to handle as much as we can as switfly as
we can.

Now, for those who want to see some curves:

. You can find there also the bug opening and closing numbers for the
period 2010.09.04-2010.09.10

Enjoy the upcoming 2.54 beta

Thanks for reading,

/Nathan
