Hehe. I feel your pain. I also use VC7 to develop. It takes me about 
about 4 hours to get a fresh download to finally compile after tweaking 
the project files.
The missing /include paths are pretty easy to figure out but missing 
files on the project cause linking errors that are hard to track down. 
(I dont think i've ever been able to compile the GP_axctl project to 
compile - but since it's not needed in the final .exe I just unload it :)
