Your idea of introducing the datablock first is excellent. I agree with
Glend Moyes who think that it should be one of the first concepts to
introduce, even before the UI which is organized around it anyway. Now, if
one can only find a way to write that introduction without the techno-lingo
of the Manual 1.5...

That is still very important : most of all the work in armatures is done so
we can use Actions and combine them in the NLA
