Ton,

I'm going to contribute the section on working with DocBook for the Blender 
Manual.

I've also joined the Python mailing list. I posted a message there this 
morning letting them know that in the next few weeks I'll be posting a Perl 
module that does text-to-docbook conversion. I'm working with the original 
author to open source it. It will allow people to create a DocBook 
compliant document by following a few simple rules when creating a text file.
