[Verse-dev] Testing and questions

I tested a linux version of verse with the verse gimp plugin.  It seems 
to work well, but I have a question:
Does it update the data?  I'm using verse for this and I had a friend 
who connected to test it with me.  I could upload and he could see what 
I was doing, but we could not work on the file together.  Any changes he 
made overrode the ones I made.  Also, it allowed 1 layer instead of 
multiple layers.  I just wondered if collaboration would be possible 
instead of 1 person working, uploading, other people 
downloading/working/uploading later.  Is that a possibility?  True, 
versegimp was written for R3 I think, but I just wondered.
