[Soc-2013-dev] VSE SoC 2013

Hi Christian,

just to clarify a few things:
* I assume, you are the (mostly silent) beta tester for the VSE GSoC
project, correct?
* I am the mentor of the project and the original module owner of VSE in
blender
* merging trunk into the VSE tree isn't much of a problem
* But: the current code quality of the VSE tree is a big problem (still
a lot of bugs to fix, a lot of stuff is still preliminary and far from
trunk ready)
* Alex seems to be really busy with his studies, but promised to work on
it, when he finds some time
* I'm very busy, myself, since I have a full time job which is very
demanding (that's also the reason, why you don't see a lot of changes
from me lately)
* so: I can answer emails, help with design issues, but I'm not
permanently in IRC and don't have much time for coding besides the stuff
I need for my own projects
* if you have any further suggestions, we might want to use the new
phabricator site (developer.blender.org), when it is ready. Phabricator
has great tools to simplify idea finding and todo management and
probably, we can find some more developers who like to help, when things
that should be done are better structured.
