Hi all,

for GSoC it is a good idea to have a feedback thread on blenderartists.org

this will help to attract a group of individuals to test your changes
and improvements, to give feedback, etc.

Here are threads already started for a few of the projects

http://blenderartists.org/forum/showthread.php?218408-GSoC-2011-Improving-Motion-Capture-workflow-feedback-and-updates

http://blenderartists.org/forum/showthread.php?216643-Summer-of-Code-Sculpt-and-Paint-Feedback-team

I'd recommend all students have such a thread for their project.

I'd also recommend that students be in irc ( irc.freenode.net
#blendercoders ) part of each day (most core developers are logged
into irc most of the day)

You'll have ready access to folks that can answer your questions and
discuss ideas and issues with and it will help you become a 'part of
the team'.

If english is not your native language, don't worry. Google translate
does a good enough job that it can allow people to communicate.
