[Soc-2005-dev] Future merging from bf-blender

Hey,

I realise i've been 404 for a while. But things have been pretty
hectic. Gonna settle back into NURBSy stuff as soon as I can. I don't
mind merging myself if nobody else is interested in using the
soc-blender tree.
