[Robotics] blenderplayer vs blender

Hi,

 I get confuse... I use blender 2.49 for the moment... And it is like 
any imports are not available with blenderplayer but everything work if 
I launch simulation from the blender GUI. So blenderplay is only GE, it 
why imports are not available?
