[Bf-webcontent] why "what's new" link in front page directly points to wiki?

Hi Pablo,
I just pointed out that because I am, currently, mantaining new/old
"features" pages, and obviously that jumped to my attention :)
"...it is a boring job, but somebody has to do it..."
I usually start building a new "new features" page since a test release
comes out, and try to mix the most relevant content form that wiki
release log with most relevant (and catchy if possible) pictures I find
there, or elsewhere, or I use the test build to get them, and I need the
splash screen too!
[The worst part is that from my location, at least, editing the website
is a PITA, terribly slow, and also a bunch of CSS properties I need to
fix for those pages which, since I know nearly nothing on the website
CSS architecture, I am currently putting in the WP page code itself, but
WP tends to remove all that code sometimes... I need help for this, just
in case.]
So, whoever makes the switch from the old to the new version on the
website/downloads could just notify (currently) me, maybe here, in order
to make sure the features page is ready. An official deadline defined in
advance could help to plan the work, probably. Maybe there is one,
somewhere, and I just don't know. I do this in my spare free time at job
and I can't join all developers meeting in IRC, but I read reports of
them on BN, usually :)
Btw, as usual, the new page will take the place of the old, and the old
one will go in the "past-releases" features pages, like
http://www.blender.org/features/past-releases/ (all past releases)
http://www.blender.org/features/past-releases/2-70/
the current 2.72 draft page is http://www.blender.org/?page_id=19272
...hey I just noted the WP page ID is (not intentionally) ending with 272 :D
This needs only the new splash screen and a last minute revision, to fix
typos and shape texts better.
Until now, I usually coordinated this work by email with Francesco
Siddi, but I would also prefer there was (here or elsewhere) a shared
"workflow" for such tasks, which are quite simple but need some level of
sync, apparently. I coud post progresses here, if needed.
Thanks, Marco
