Thanks Scott for your reply,
and welcome Braeden. The conference is almost over and I'll start coordinating the migration again during the week.

hi Braeden,
Francesco and Pablo are the key people that manage the blender site with what I have seen. With the Blender conference going on right now, it might be a little while before they respond with anything. The actual site design and development is currently on GITHub.
https://github.com/fsiddi/blender-org
The GITHub part just includes the coding for the main site (uses Wordpress). If you want to help with content, Pablo or Francesco will need to get you access to the staging.blender.org site.

Hey All, whoever you may be,
My name is Braeden, I am an Art Director who has been working in the
advertising and design industry for about 8 years now and I would like
to help out where I can. I had sent a reply previously, but my lack of
experience with mail lists and formatting may have meant my response
slipped through the cracks.
I just saw Ton's Keynote opener and did happen to hear that we still
need help on the site, so I would love to participate. I can migrate
content, images, produce graphical assets, write copy (English is my
first language, and I write ads and marketing content with my
copywriters as my day-to-day job, if that's important), and I can even
do some coding, although that is not what I do professionally.
My personal site is http://www.braedenlaverty.ca - there you can see
examples of my designs, advertising, etc., as well as my web work (the
site is built from the ground up, no frameworks other than jQuery as a
library for the animation and DOM traversing, and no prefabbed templates
or themes).
I hope I can be of some help, and sorry for the lengthy intro, I just
wanted to let you know I can help out in a bunch of areas. I promise if
I produce any written content I will make brevity a priority.
Thanks,
Braeden
