[Bf-viewport] Viewport - what is it actually

Hey,


This viewport branch, what is it actually.


I have been tracking it for quite some time now but still can't figure out what it is or is supposed to be doing.  Is it a replacement for cycles or is it the realtime rendering of the models or ...


It would be cool if someone could just explain, in few lines, like I am a ten year old, noob or ignorant.
