One point I would like to see is a visual difference between fields,
settings toggles and commands buttons (actions), and that should not
be only a color one.

I said many times that feedback is a tantamount and that is just one
of those cases.

One possible solution is to use variable radius on the box to
denote what it is. Fields have here a 2 pixel radius, settings a 5 one,
and the command a fully rounded look. I added too a 1 pixel
shadow for a less flat look but that latter point can be discussed.
(it can help feedback to play with the shadow when the user press
button to simulate it is depressed).

Other effects (3D especially) can be used but we need to be wary
of not adding visual clutter either.
