Why should these two methods for color selection be included?  It is
not apparent that this "quicker-picker"
is any faster than the method in the current release version, and
adding ways of use with exceptions like
holding or dragging rather than just clicking generally hinder a
user's ability to discover the features themselves,
and potentially limit familiar patterns of interaction like
drag-n-drop (e.g. copying a color to another color property
by dragging it there).

At least, imo, only one basic method for accessing a color picker is needed.
