Yep, brecht is right on the money here. Rather than adding more
clicks, more annoying blocking menus in the way of working, it's much
better to have a notification system to notify of what happened,
rather than abusing a confirmation message for this. It's not the job
of confirmation prompts to remind you of what tool you are using. This
notification info can get represented in a header message in a console
window like this for example:
