Hi Jonas,

Thanks for offering your script, I already updated Blender's wiki with
information about it:
http://wiki.blender.org/bin/view.pl/Scripts/ScriptsNew

BTW: that page is where we will list new offered scripts for people to
test and opinate, you all feel free to register and edit the pages
there, too. Right now it's still basically only me working on this, but
it can't be this way, depending on a single person.

We need a group to take care of bundled scripts discussions and testing,
so those here willing to participate actively are invited to say so.
Basic Blender Python knowledge is surely a plus, but it's easy enough to
learn, so even if you're a newbie but would like to help in selection /
maintainance, welcome aboard : ).

Probably we'll also use a thread in the elysiun forums for users to
opinate. And there are interesting sub-projects to work on:
- importers/exporters: better integration, additions, a little
standardization so all behave alike, etc.
- documentation: besides good documentation in the script itself, for
the Scripts Help Browser in the Scripts menu (check any bundled script
to see how to add docs), it's a good idea to have a basic template for
online docs, so we can form a "book" with help for Blender scripts. Like
a "bundled scripts manual".

The scripts group, which is an official project in projects.blender.org
and includes this mailing list and a cvs repository (sadly not updated
in months, but we'll change that), is the central place for these
efforts. For its cvs we can have dirs for bundled scripts, for new
offered ones still being tested / discussed and probably for an extra
package, with scripts that won't be bundled with Blender itself, but
will be available as a separate but well advertised download. That will
give us more freedom, for example to include scripts that require 3rd
party modules or full Python installs.
