[Bf-python] Accuracy of setEuler

I am working on a method of creating a stick built residential dwelling using 
python scripts.

I am finding unacceptable errors in placement using 3 floats and ob.setEuler 
while trying to draw roof rafters.

I get the accuracy I want mathematically.  It is the drawing of the object 
that is in error.

Does anyone have experience with this?
Are there work arounds?
