I recompiled from CVS just now and did:

cp ~/svg2obj_059c.py install/linux2/.blender/scripts/bpymodules/svg2obj.py
cp ~/svg2obj_059c.py blender/release/scripts/bpymodules/svg2obj.py

It still shows that "experimental" option when I import SVG.
