I'm using blender-CVS-20061225 and I replaced: 

./.blender/scripts/bpymodules/svg2obj.py

with your svg2obj.py file.

Yes. This is the one I copied in. Here's the SHA1 sum:

It still displays: 

SVG 2 OBJ translater, 0.5.9a

..in the header of the file, but this is because you haven't updated
it.
