I don't see any reason to not go to 2.4 but all the platform managers 
will need to compile python24.lib's and .a's and .o's and whateverelse 
then setup their build to link to the new libraries.  This is something 
that all the platform managers must be involved with. Also the 
gameengine python stuff will need to be linked to the new libs.
