[Bf-python] Image.New()- commit?

Hi Campbell,

My apologies. I recall I checked and should have added your patch back 
then, but got very busy for weeks and simply forgot about it.

So 1) because it was not added due to my mistake, 2) because Image.New() 
exists but does nothing (so agreeing with antont that we might consider 
it "buggy") and 3) it's small and easy to test, I'd say it's really ok 
to commit it.

Don't forget to document it, too :) ...
