[Bf-python] more Curve API

As if the previous msg was not long enough!

One issue with the current Curve interface is
that when a curve is modified via python, the
changes do not show up visually, until you
enter ( and exit ) edit mode.

I'm guessing we need to update the display list
after modifying control points.  However, being
an innocent lamb when it comes to the blender source,
it is not yet obvious to me how this is accomplished.

Any hints, pointers or examples would be appreciated.
