[Bf-funboard] Vertex / Edge To sphere along edge side with correct uv?

would it be possible to have a to circle command, suing a form of vertex
slide, to the closest points in a sphere along a vertex / edge slide?


can this happen and preserve UV?

this is for taking a texture and 'cutting out' topology by hand to bump up
/ add detail.
