[Bf-funboard] Plane Lamp and White Diffuse Mystery results?

Hi. Theres this

G+ with an image but I wish to briefly chip the summary in here and
finally ask, Why is the results so.
1. Its hard if not impossible to create a 100% white diffuse shader in
Blender Cycles.
2. Using a plane as emission, its interaction with a surface is is seen to
be in a circular.

Are there any work arounds. If not, why is it so?
