Thanks folks. Excellent workaround with the 3D Cursor. Haven`t thougth about that feature. A direct way would be of course neater :) I´m unfortunately no Python programmer. I tried it once. But the available Blender Python tutorials didn`t work. So i gave up. How would such a Python script look like?
