Agreed.

What could be done also is adding a little eye icon next to the CTO in the floating panel, clicking on them would align the view.

Would that be better when dealing with longer lists?

Seeing as Global and View are pretty much useless, those could be removed too.

Yes, that might work.

Not sure I like that one, since it looses a lot of the power of working with CTOs.

This one could be an option too:

d- It could always align using the current orientation (bit more fiddling around, but it would mean it aligns to the "work" orientation)
