[Bf-funboard] snap / align improvements in blender 2.43?

Hi Martin,

maybe I am too stupid to understand this,
but I couldn't find a "Snap Target Mode",
whether in the i-window nor in the Snap-menu.
Could be that there already exists such a feature,
but is it that kind of intuitive like even in freeware
like Google Sketchup?
For modelling architectural stuff, it is a must to
have a snap-in function (could be a mode to
switch on/off). Nobody wants to press one or
more keys, when he just is compositing some
elements like walls and furnitures.
