[Bf-education] About building blender with vs2008, cmake, win7

As a starter, I was trying to build blender according to the instruction
here:
http://wiki.blender.org/index.php/Dev:Doc/Building_Blender/Windows/cmake
And the tools I used were vs2008, cmake, win7 os. However, when I was
building the INSTALL I got some error which said that: isspace is not a
member of std.
Did I got wrong somewhere?
