[Bf-docboard] Build Manual Makefile Error

I am trying to get the manual built from my mac. I have followed all the steps
from the contribute manual page, but when i try to run "make" I am get this
error:
 

Makefile:8: *** commands commence before first target.  Stop.

 

Any ideas?
