[Bf-docboard] A few open topics'n'ideas... (...old'n'new...) (...of Mr. M. Bärlocher...) ...for Blender.

  Hello,

  About myself:
I am Mr. M. Bärlocher an educated Multimedia Producer of a reentry into
this profession as a selfemployed, musician, music clip producer, author,
creative, as also still relatively low, as also a 'just started'.

I experimented a lot with light-particles, as also mirroring... While the
production, while using Blender 2.69 I recognized some things, which seem
to be labeled with 'Work in Progress', xor some things, which could become
extended (I did overfly the existing online Add-Ons, but also about this
point I would have a suggestion or two...):

Add-Ons:
- Fully implementablility, simply cause of to keyframe every possible
option in a direct manner...
- Fully, xor redefined object orientated hierarchy of the divers
optionalities for the implementation... (I save a lot of WIP files, some
times I had to reload a presaved version, cause for example a forgotten
mesh-meta-detail, so it would be better, if it could be possible (similar
to Cinema 4D's object hierarchy for example), a 'work in progress
detail-steps chronic', as an Outliner extension...))

Options:
- Additionally to the two .blend1, .blend2 files an autosave folder with
following date-time, so files' progress becomes comparable to the project
managment's progress.

Objects:
- I miss these type of spline objects, like tube-nurbs, and/or I really
can't handle the spline-objects of Blender. I didn't had to use them, but
will... (The diversity of Nurbs!? I like this function as it is in Cinema
4D available, specially for tech'n'machine things... It's at the border to
CAD.)
- Object Generators: Like the example artmatic
(http://uisoftware.com/artmatic/Galleries/gallery.html) a fully seperated
object orientated mesh generator, with save functionality in an extended
Outliner... (Instead of endlessly WIPs/in-between_saves...)
- Text obj. to cam-field/-square animationing/positioning functionalities,
cause of the size'n'resolutions...

Keyframing:
- For the complete Keyframing with the index the tracks/on the keyframes of
the Dope Sheet an additional options section, right-click, and the standard
stuff like copy-paste, and this across different objects, and/or a fully
object orientated (!) keyframing-functionalities...
- I understand, that the divers sub-window types for keyframing
'interact'/are connected, this could be fully extended, visualized as
keyframes, paths within the 3D view... (Drag'n'Drop keyframing, and so
on...)

Physics:
- Visible dust-light, in shape of (!) a light modifier? Means, extended
Halo, Shimmer options for every type of light source... (Overplease!)
- Seems to be a WiP, full fragmentable physically objects. Glass, wood,
iron splintering (I saw this options somewhere...) Or something like
similar to the (!) voxel (!) engines (in comparison to the resolution of
the cam), 'simulated substances' in shape of an extended particle
generator, as also the influences by fire (material), growth, bounce,
smash/squeeze (snow, water, sand)... It's useful for exeptions, and could
conduct to the planned game engine, hum...

Modifiers:
- A delay and a predelay modifier functioning with index
raytracing/timelining/keyframing, light, or motion...
- Gausan Blur Modifier (of the typical simple Photoshop kind) with the
index the timeline/keyframing...
- A mirrorin, which accepts partitially asymetry, also for Textures, like
an exception zone...

Property Inspector:
- For 3D Users, and not programmers, it is sometimes not obvious if the
0.000 to 1.000 options are somehow perencentages, or on which 'side' is the
option on... I do not have a concrete example, I used the mirror, and
transparency function in combination, and was restlessly confused about the
result after a while, even if my school know inside of my head meant
something, it's a grumble, if such options byte each other... (I used a
double mesh for the Wave-Cave of music video: The Snare Is Meant. Cause of
'this failure, I figured, but I can't rechew this'. [silent whispering -
'ouch' meant the typer...])

Outliner:
- Single Object's solo button, additionally to visible/moveable/visible in
raytracer... (Like in music sequencer softwares...)
- An Object's fully options-freeze/keylock button/'don't touch this no
more' button (with note-ability or not  (objects notes/dependencies notes
button??))...
- Sortability of the objects, alphabetically, size, type, created, etc.

Particle Emitter:
- Emissions' options expressed among the timeline, the complete particle's
emission section could become far extended, I used multi-objects or move
into-out off the scene/cam... (I honestly didn't used layers, it's a
one-shot, but I think this could make additionally sense for low, mid, high
flackering fire, and so on...)
- To bake an particle emmitter didn't worked out, cause it got slower and
slower... How does this become calculated behind?! (Rethoric question, but
1 and a half day, with an hour for about 20 or 30, hum... I don't
understand this/I didn't understood this form a 'mental- computer
tech-flair standpoint'...)

Raytracer:
- Using, missusing, subusing through OpenGL or DirectX the graphic card
hardware?! (Nooyo, if possible, an idea for the hyper nerds, freaks,
geeks.)
- Memory CPU bottle-neck, my honestly older, slow i5 isn't that
representative, but the RAM-CPU handling did had a failure with my station,
even if 3 of 4 GB still where free... (Yes, new'n'better hardware,
and'n'but it's really more a hardware topic...) But part of the renderer is
as single core, arr, 'raytree building...' or what it was...
- As long it's raytracing - blocking the editor, also for material options,
etc... (I had a stuck of not saved fincut progress, while I wanted to save,
while the raytracers' window was open...)
- Preparing for HD TV X2, X4, X8, X16, nooyo, it's just a preset... Hum...
- A preset 'do raytrace these - executable file', to send it a neighbour,
buddies, after to ask for the company's computer/computers, to raytrace
through the night, and/or, like these strange 'SETI screensavers', fully
automated'n'so with self-checking for the as the minimum needed computer
hardware... (Also a nooyo, but hum, a simple idea...)
- An auto-restart functionality on_crash - auto reboot for windows, xor
ubuntu for the restarted Raytracing process, after a voltage wobbler, or a
thunder storm, or whatever...
