No, I agree with you.
Didn't see the archive till now.

Only thing is that the archiv is webbased, I like to have the Mails 
local on the computer. Of course you could download it but there is more 
work to it.

But I think as long as the list isn't growing very fast (mails and 
users) there is no need for a newsgroup account.
