If it seems complex, one likely shouldn't be dabbling with it. This
wasn't a discussion against the patch, but rather an answer as to how
to apply custom transforms.

I agree that an OCIO color transform bake node is a much needed node.
Haven't looked at this patch yet.

A pipeline's LUT sets should be homogenous. Not sure this can help there.

Again why a pipeline's LUT set should be consistent across the pipeline.
