Dear Sir/Madam,

Nice to meet you, I am a student from Pontifical Catholic University of Rio
de Janeiro for 4 years now. I have started studying Computer, Electrical
and Systems Engineering and about a year ago I changed my major to Computer
Engineering where I feel I really belong.

One of the reasons I changed my major was my interest for Computer
graphics. Since then I manage to take a course on computer graphics 2D at
IMPA and interned as a software developer at Onshape, where I was
introduced to modeling in 3D.

I've seen in Blender a great opportunity to learn about it and specially
work with it, even though I don't have a lot of experience with 3D computer
graphics I have been coding in C/C++ since I learn programming (about 3
years ago) and had always been a great algebra student, with this
background and my excitement I believe I can learn quickly and have a
meaningful contribution by the end of the program.

The projects ideas which I liked most was "Sculpting Tools", "Normal
Editing Tools", "Higher Quality Solidify Modifier" and"Boolean Modifier
Improvement". All of this seen to be not only a very interesting problem
that aligns a lot with my interests as also something very fun and
challenging to code! Would you have any room on those projects?

Best wishes,

Maurício Pedro Vieira
