Wrong.  Two things happen differently in the corporate world.  The first
is that release cycles are much longer - typically yearly rather than
quarterly.

The second is that the tech writers work with and in parallel to the
developers so the entire package is ready for release at one time.
One consequence of this style of development is that the appearance
of interfaces like UI elements is defined and nailed down early.  
Modifying them later in the process is very hard due to the way changes
cascade throughout the system.
