[Bf-committers] GPL exception license for Blender Player.

Hi,
Just to clarify:
We need a .blend game player only using software under the BSD, MIT or
Zlib license.
A GPL exception is not good enough for some of the work done under NDA,
non-disclose agreements. There are other reasons, but that is a long discussion.
That is why I started the GameKit project a while back, and it is
making good progress.
http://gamekit.googlecode.com
So this discussion has 2 parts:
1) Why do we need a .blend player under the BSD,MIT or Zlib license?
2) How can we achieve such .blend player under the BSD, MIT or Zlib license?
I would rather focus on part 2, because lawyers already convinced me
about part 1.
Unless the copyright holders agree on a license change/dual license
(GPL+BSD etc),
I don't see another way of achieving this goal than working on GameKit.
Thanks,
Erwin
