Hi,

1) Current projects

- GE API cleanup is in progress
   Estimate is another "few weeks work"

2) Blender 2.5 progress

- Widget drawing is still very WIP, Ton continues on it next week.
   Most work will be recode of old interface_draw.c with propert theme, 
hints, callbacks.
- Next then is hooking this up to the layout engine.
- Brecht works on getting UI code pluggable for python, so py can 
register panels, and works on soft/hard range for rna, animato 
keyframes for buttons, rna-pointer buttons

Side note: there's a quite realistic outlook for a great Siggraph booth 
again, so... August 3 would be a great target for a 2.5 (beta) show off 
to the CG world!

3) 2.49 status

- Bullet upgrade caused some things to break, Erwin will look into it
   (Note to all, just put bugs in the tracker, it'll be checked)
- consider trunk to be really feature-frozen now, no new stuff, only 
finishing what's there and bugfixes!
- Next week we should try to define a date?

4) GSoC

- Seven proposals are in. It's highly advised to review it before the 
deadline, friday!
- Advise for students: keep poking us devs for reviews, irc is great 
for that. :)
