I am involved in setting up the DAW my wife uses for professional
orchestral composition for film scoring, I would say one of the most
useful things that could happen to the blender sound system is the
ability to be jack aware and sync to jack transport. That way you could
score your animations real time from the sequencer. It was being done
for GSOC at one time but died.

What do you think?
