I would like to see it go. If it's completely ripped out, we wouldn't have
to worry about people starting projects with it. The problem comes with
loading a project that is already using sumo? What happens then? Set it to
Bullet or Dummy?

The only crashes with the BGE I've noticed are my own (ie, being stupid with
the source :P ). Well, I have gotten some crashes out of the VideoTexture
model, but I haven't tested if that was due to some patches. Also, there's
the whole issue of using too many resources, but I don't think that's
something that is really fixable. So, really, the BGE seems quite stable to
me; just a little clunky.
