[Bf-committers] How to make a pot file?

Hello, all.

I'm a beginner. and I want to make a pot file for blender.
so I tried to use a command "intltool-update --pot"
but I got only this error message.

"Cannot find top_srcdir in Makefile. at /usr/bin/intltool-update line 957."

How can I do? please help me.
