That's what I was afraid of.

Is it a good idea to try to cache this data?
The size of a tesselation buffer is often static for common operations.
Reusing this buffer should offer a performance increase.

As long as the current system isn't a deliberate design choice, I will
look into changing this behaviour in my branch.
