Moreover, even if we were wrapping the mouse pointer,
scaling (and other transforms too) is dependent on the
initial distance from the center of transformation, so
it's a good thing if you stay aware of where your
pointer is at all time. You'll use it for selection or
clicking or whatnot at one point or another, so
there's no good side to not knowing where your cursor
is.
